I want to be a big time music promoter, and you all want to be big time artists. That is what makes this match so perfect. At Scrub Records we concentrate on getting the public to take notice of your music, not just other artists. You will find no bulletin board here, there are plenty out there for you to post on. Instead, we focus on what is important, your music! Three things were taken into account when designing this site. That is Functionality, Simplicity, and Affordability.
-Functionality
Lets face it, the majority of us aren’t computer geeks, and designing a webpage can be very tricky. With our easy to use control panel, you can have a website up for your band in a matter of minutes. No need to wait around for page approvals, as they are as instant as the click of a button. Uploading mp3’s along with lyrics, and song information is simple. By allowing deep linking, and HTML markup, we create an environment where artists can make their page their own. We place absolutely no restrictions on what an artist can promote or link to on their site.
-Simplicity
The straight up fact of the matter is that most OMD’s are very cluttered. It seems that they are more concerned with filling their pages with pay per click ads, than they are with getting the artists that support them noticed. In my opinion, a lot of them could care less whether your music gets noticed or not, they just want your money. Now don’t get me wrong, we want your money too, but we want to deliver value with that service. Our homepage is free from all that clutter, and focus is placed on one thing: The music of those who support us, period.
-Affordability
Can’t get much more affordable than free, and Scrub Records gives more free space and more services to free members than most other OMD’s. One look at our pricing for premium plans, and one can see that no one can compete with our prices. |
